Mumbai North Central District Forum (MNCDF) is a social organization engaged in addressing civic issues and grievances. Originally founded in 2013-2014, MNCDF soon decided to widen its reach through the Twitter platform and today is present via @MNCDFBombay to not just reach out to citizens but also to felicitate citizens to reach out to relevant bodies voicing their concerns regarding various civic issues and grievances. MNCDF, from time to time, highlights overall progress of constituencies in the city of Mumbai and conveys citizen recommendations to elected representatives in turn working as a bridge between the citizens and elected  representatives/statutory authorities to make the relevant change in the society.  

That is not all. MNCDF also provides pro bono legal assistance to helpless and underprivileged citizens in turn ensuring that no common person feels at their receiving end and goes unheard.

In the ongoing global pandemic, MNCDF has been involved in providing strong support to the society through various initiatives. Donation of free meals to underprivileged, distribution of masks and PPE kits to frontline workers among others have been part of its efforts in reaching out during the COVID-19 induced lockdown. While empathy towards the society is the motto of MNCDF, its aim is to ensure a safe neighborhood in conjunction with the elected representative, in the lawful manner possible. About Founder : Founded in 2014 by Advocate Trivankumar Karnani, the Mumbai-based criminal litigation lawyer, counsel and mediator currently practices in Honourable Bombay High Court.

Karnani started the forum with the sole purpose of community service, using his knowledge of law.

Soon, his public policy expertise via the MNCDF platform became a strong medium between citizens and the elected representatives such as MPs, MLA's and Municipal Corporator.

Encouraging community governance, Adv. Karnani through MNCDF also became the channel to have competent authorities like government bodies and public servants fulfill their legal and professional obligations sincerely and judiciously.

About MNCDF Flying Squad:

In 2018, Advocate Karnani launched the MNCDF flying squad comprising proactive citizens from different walks of life such as lawyers, professionals, employees, corporates, traders, entrepreneurs, charted accountants, doctors, policemen, detectives, bureaucrats, journalists among others.

The main purpose of the squad is 'detection' of any issue concerning the public interest.  The flying squad spread across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, are a group of like-minded and proactive citizens who take up civic issues and public welfare throughout the city under the wings of this forum.

The work of MNCDF flying squad has been acknowledged and appreciated by the Honourable Governor of Maharashtra, His Excellency Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
